Introduction and Purpose

This website seeks feedback from the community about the construction of two self-build homes on land between Sunningdale and Withywind at Wild Oak Lane, Trull.

Earlier in 2024, a similar planning application was submitted (Somerset Council ref: 42/24/0005) and was subsequently withdrawn due to concerns from both Councillors and the community. 

We have listened to, and reflected upon, the matters raised. This has led to this website being set up to provide more information on the proposed development. This website is intended as an initial consultation step, seeking views on the project from the local community. Within the feedback form we also ask how those responding would like to be involved and kept updated on the proposals. 

We encourage everyone to read the contents of this website and complete the feedback form so that we can understand what the community’s views and priorities would be for this type of development in Trull. Responses received will influence how we continue to develop the proposals moving forward.
